Contribute and Metatags
Hi everyone,
I am managing a corporate web site the metatags of which have to be frequently
updated. Now it's quite risky to edit the metatags by hand, since someone else
could be editing the respective page at the same time, so some updates would
get lost. We're using Contribute 3 to manage the updates, so my question is: Is
it possible to edit meta tags in contribute? And if so, how? I haven't been
able to figure that out. Can anyone help? Thank you! :-)

Re: Contribute and Metatags
Did you ever get an answer to this question? I am trying to make a purchase
decision around Contribute and need the same functionality. However, I find
nothing in the literature that allows me to do that. Thanks,

Re: Contribute and Metatags
In Contribute 3 (Windows XP) to edit the Keyword & Description META tags:
- Browse to the page
- Edit Page
- Choose "Format/Keywords and Descriptions..."
For other META tags you'll have to create specific editable items in the
template.

Hope that helps.
