Contribute error - editing php page

    Default Contribute error - editing php page

    Hi
    When I try to edit a php page, I have an error: "Cannot lock the page to
    prevent other users from editing it. Please try again later".
    (When I edit a html page, I have no problem.)
    My site run on a WebDav Server.
    Can you help me?

    My users cannot edit their pages for this error: "Cannot lock the page to prevent other users from editing it. Please try again later".

    I had this same problem today. In IIS go to the properties page of your
    web site then to the Home Directory tab.

    If you website is not an application click create then click
    Configuration otherwise just click configuration.

    Select .asp, .aspx, .php and any other serverside ascipt types you used
    then click remove.

    You should now be able to edit.

    NOTE: If your webdav site is the same as your production site then you
    will not want to do this.
