    Default Contribute Extensions

Does anyone know how best to distribute extensions for Contribute? Contribute
supports most Dreamweaver-type extensions, however the Extension Manager
doesn't seem to recognize Contribute as a product or the path to the
/Configuration folder in Contribute. Is there some other way to distribute
these (other than asking our userbase to copy x files into their
    /configuration/comands folder)?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Default Contribute Extensions

    Hi,

I have developed a small Object extension in Dreamweaver with the intention of
having it available in Contribute for our users. The extension basically
pops up a dialog and inserts a custom tag with attributes coming from the
dialog values. I've created the necessary files and added a button to the
insertbar.xml file in the Dreamweaver CS3 Configuration directory, and have
tested it in Dreamweaver. It works well here.

After moving these files over to the equivalent directories in the Contribute
CS3 Configuration, it doesn't show up. This is not totally surprising to me
since I see that Contribute doesn't have the "Insert Bar" that Dreamweaver
does. Is there any documenation, how-to's, or someone with insight that can
steer me in the right direction when it comes to the differences between
extensions for DW and for Contribute? What I want to do is to add an option to
the Insert menu which does the same things as my button in DW.

    Thanks,
    Darryl
