OS 10.4.5 - Contribute 3.11

Since yesterday Contribute has been freezing, needing me to do a force quit.
I have tried re-installing, deleting all relavant files and installing on
another machine, but it still freezes on our main website. I am able to
connect and edit pages on another web server.

This is exactly what happens.

After a completly new install, I add a new connection, the whole process works
fine including the ftp tests.

When contribute tries to then goto the web page I am trying to edit, it
freezes needing a force quit.

I copied the text below from console: I am no expert on these things, but I'm
hoping there is someone here that can help.

UTF-8. The file name for this data could be:
(UNKNOWN)
The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the
plist.
