Contribute hangs when publishing

I'm using Contribute 3.11 and it was working fine until yesterday. Now it just
hangs when I try to publish - no error messages, just an hour glass that stays
on the screen until I shut it down (I let it sit there for more than 10
minutes). It is not a problem with my connection as I'm having the same
problem with three different web servers (one of them is my desktop). I have
uninstalled/reinstalled and re-created my connections and I'm still getting the
same result. I did install a Windows automatic update yesterday, but I'm not
sure how to troubleshoot that to figure out if that is the problem. Any
suggestions?

Just an update ... I uninstalled the Windows update and I'm still having the same problem so it doesn't look like that was the culprit. I'm still looking for ideas on this one ...

After several cycles of reinstalling Contribute, manually deleting Contribute
folders, rebooting my PC, and recreating my Contribute connections it finally
started working. Then I reinstalled the Windows update and Contribute is still
working.
So I don't know what was going on, but it's working now.
