Contribute installation

I have tried to install Contribute several times and I keep getting the
message, "The install script engine is missing from this machine. I down
loaded and ran the script and it still did not install.

Can you provide me with more details on
1. Version of contribute you are installing
2. on what OS
3. No script engines are required for contribute installation. Can you give
us an exact error?
4. A Screen shot of the same would help us track your problem easily.

I have tried to install Fireworks8, Flash8 and Dreamweaver8 and I am getting
this message too. The exact message is:
" 1: The InstallScript engine is missing from the machine. If available,
please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further
assistance. "
I installed isscript.msi at least 8 times, 6 DIFFRENT versions and none
worked. :((((((((((
I have Windows XP SP2.:(

Not true!

Exactly this (and only this) version of installshield has to be installed:

[url]http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108322/ISScript101.zip[/url]

Hi,

Does Contribute require any configuring or installation on the server side? I
am looking for a content management tool that I do not have to install on the
server that hosts the websites that I maintain. I work for a network of
colleges, but I upload to a main server that is utilized by other webmasters,
and installing a CMS server-wide is unfeasible.
