Default Contribute: is it for use in a non-networked environment

My family wants to colaborate on a web site. Can we use Contribute to enable
several of us to publish pages to the one site? If so, do we each have to have
Contribute installed on our individual PCs?

Sure, you could do this. You could have Contribute installed on one computer
and let each person just use that central computer to work on the site, but
then everyone would have the same rights on the site. If you want to limit the
rights of some users, for example the kids have to send drafts to you for
publishing instead of being able to immediately publish to the site, then
you'll want to have separate copies of Contribute. You COULD do it with one
copy, but you'd have to delete your connection each time you were done working,
or else the next person to use the same computer would have the same rights as
    you.

Your reply makes sense to me Christine.

A cousin of mine suggested using Contribute to be able to post to a web site I
set up but it dawned on me that the description of how the program works would
require having Contribute installed on the computer of every family member that
wanted to be able to post to the site. I guess we can kick it around and see
if that's the way we'll go.

Thanks very much for your input.
