Contribute key/connection does not work
I'm a web designer running Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows XP and Contribute 3. I
recently developed a new site for a client and set them up with Contribute CS3.
The client is unable to connect with Contribute although they can connect with
filezilla. All keys fail with a couple of different error messages... "Error.
It appears that the data we are trying to read is corrupted. Please make sure
the server space is not full." or something about the password being incorrect.
The server is new and the password is correct. I was able to create a
connection in Contribute manually on site, but offsite the client has not been
able to connect manually.
I searched the forums but haven't found an answer to the problem. I deleted
the _mm folder and the .LCK files and tried recreating the Contribute site and
settings but it didn't work. I currently administer about a half dozen sites
for both in-house projects and clients who do their own updating. I wondered if
it might be a version issue, but that has never been a problem before. I've
experienced corrupt keys before but have still been able to connect manually or
have had success by deleting the _mm folder and recreating the Contribute
connection.
I'm really stumped. Any ideas out there? I'm going to attach the ftp error log
the client received while trying to connect.
Thanks.

Re: Contribute key/connection does not work
The problem is solved. The client who was trying to connect was off site. They had to connect manually and adjust some of the ftp options according to their network setup.
