Re: Contribute producing non-XHTML compliant code?
Thanks to RichardC!
I share his thoughts 100 percent. Especially: ...they (non-XHTML attributes)
shouldn't be available in XHTML pages.
If this was generally the case (for all XHTML tags), I would tell every single
of my customers to buy contribute. At the moment I would need to switch off
most of the menus (by editing the corresponding xml files) for my clients, and
still there would be risks remaining (like double-clicking on an existing
image, the applying values for non-XHTML attributes...). (It's even possible in
3.1)
By the way: Most of the rest of Contribute looks absolutely great - the guys
who did this should not have any problems to make it work "standards compliant"
regarding the availability of element attributes. So PLEASE DO IT!
Cheers.
