Contribute with GoLive

I have beeen designing web sites with Adobe GoLive and the editing program
CO-Author is weak and limited. Can I use Contribute to edit Adobe GoLive sites,
or do the sites have to be designed with Dreamweaver?

Contribute is designed to edit any html site. The Dreamweaver templates do
work best with Contribute. Also with the Adobe purchase of Macromedia there is
a chance Go-Live will be replaced with Dreamweaver.

Well Adobe will probably have completed the acquisition of Macromedia by the
end of the year.

Next year will see the two company's product lines merge - which pits
Dreamweaver head to head with Golive (market share: wild guess, say, DW 70%
: GL 20% : the rest 10%). They won't keep two products with similar features
in the same market.

The next step is anyone's guess.....

Would you also know any obvious differences that dreamweaver has over GoLive
when working with Contribute since they are more integrated? Or, can you
recommend documentation or reference articles I can read? I have googled my
brains out trying to find out.

Contribute can work with any website that is developed in Dreamweaver or
GoLive. Integration b/w DW and CT is there unlike GoLive. You can start
off with the documentation links in the product at
