    Default Contribute Won't Transfer Data

After working well some weeks ago, Contribute CS3 now says it is not able to
transfer data, so I can't access my site to edit. It does state that it can
connect to the server, but then nothing happens. I've had to recreate a
connection profile with the ftp info and url, but still nothing. The message
suggests my firewall is to blame but those settings are the same as when the
program was working fine. Needless to say, I'm perplexed.

    Any thoughts?

I've learned that my firewall is evidently the culprit which is surprising
since I've never encountered this before while the firewall has been on.

Since I'm on a Mac using 10.4, what settings in my Preferences should I
utilized to allow for access while the firewall is on?
