Contribute work with flash? (Studio 8)
I am new to Contribute. I recently ordered Studio 8.
Will the new version of Contribute allow a user to edit the content of a FLASH swf file? (If the site is a flash site, not an html site.)

Re: Contribute work with flash? (Studio 8)
I don't think Flash itself can edit a swf file - you'd need the fla file
(http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_4109)
About editing the swf with Contribute: it depends on how you build your swf
file to function. If you are using external source files that are pulled into
the swf then you can edit those external files. We use .html and .txt files as
includes in swf files and can edit those in Contribute (well the HTML files you
can edit directly, but the txt files have to be opened in notepad to edit and
then published through Contribute). So not the complete swf is edited but by
using external files we can edit parts (content and certain functionality of
the swf).
