Contribute3 hanging on edit

Using Contribute 3, operating on Windows 2000 Professional. When initially
editing a page perhaps 1 out of 2 times the programme will freeze on the 'Edit
Page' usually at 25%, occassionally the screen will also show the 'Downloading'
bar and will then freeze on this. Sometimes the page will come up ready to edit
but will be stuck on the 'timer' indefinately. In these instances if the page
is just left alone it can take up to an hour until the page is able to be
edited and at other times you have to quit out of the programme in order to be
able to edit. Once in the editing page the programme works fine until you
publish a page. Once one page has been edited each time you go to edit another
page the problems become worse - the time to access a page increases and the
amount of times you have to quit out also increases. Another problem I have
been experiencing recently and with increasing frequency in when adding
multiple links to an individual page. If I try and add more than one link, you
go through the whole process and when you click ok at the end it then comes up
with a warning message stating that 'this cannot be performed in this region of
the page'. You then need to publish the page and then re-edit it (see above
about the difficulties when editing a page). If you have any suggestions, I'd
be very grateful for your help. I've no hair left to pull-out!

We've had the same problem periodicly. Did you come up with a solution yet?
