Controlling Main movie from linked castmember movie - Macromedia Director Basics

I have created a main parent movie DEMO.DIR. In the movie, I have placed another movie (OPTION.DIR) which is linked as an external castmember. When launched, I'm able to see the OPTION.DIR displayed inside DEMO.DIR which is correct. Now, I'm planning to add hotspot in OPTION.DIR that will bring me to the Markers of DEMO.DIR, e.g. OPTION.DIR --------------- On MouseDown go to "Marker1" End Now here's my problem. When running DEMO.DIR, when user click the hotspot (of OPTION.DIR), I want it to go to the "Marker1" of DEMO.DIR. What is the correct Lingo statement that I should use to 'point' ...

Now here's my problem. When running DEMO.DIR, when user click the hotspot
(of OPTION.DIR), I want it to go to the "Marker1" of DEMO.DIR. What is the
correct Lingo statement that I should use to 'point' the command to the
    parent movie.

OK.. I have found the answer

In the DEMO.DIR file, I need to checked/enabled the 'Enable Scripts' option
from the Linked Movie Property Inspector..

And in the OPTION.DIR, the commands to use is:

    On MouseDown
Tell the stage to go frame "Marker1"
    End

    Its simple

The correct syntex you have to use is,

go to "marker name" of movie "movie name"

so as per your movies you have to use

go to "Marker1" of movie "DEMO.DIR"

    Try this.
