Default Convert Color to GrayScale

I've created a small image 20px by 20px. It's in color. I want to create
another duplicate image except I want the second image to be gray scale.
(So that I can have a grayed out icon when not available)

How do you use fireworks to change a copy of a color image into a grayscale
equilivent?

Thanks,
Darrell

Darrel:

Please take a look at this explanation here:
http://members.home.nl/ccnk/forum/grayscale.jpg

You can optionally turn this into a Command for later use and to
BatchProcess many photo's this way. Good luck!

I hope that does it for you.

Different modes for different folks. Drag a white or black rectangle
over the image and apply the Saturation blend mode to the rectangle. :-)
