Re: Convert Indesign to Illustrator w/o InDes
Zalud,
Is it possible to open the InDesign file with Illustrator?
Not if it is a native InDesign file. If you can, have the ID user export to EPS or PDF.
If you're really stuck (and the ID file was created in version 2 or earlier -- not CS) drop me a note.

Re: Convert Indesign to Illustrator w/o InDes
Will the paths keep their properties (ie. will I be able to manipulate them)? I'm using Illustrator 10, not sure which InDesign version is being used.

Re: Convert Indesign to Illustrator w/o InDes
Paths should be no problem. Text is trickier if there's a lot of it and you want to edit it.
If exporting to PDF or EPS, ID version shouldn't matter. I only mentioned ID version in my first post because I can't open an ID 3 (CS) file.
