Convert LDAP Attribute accountexpires to a date
I"m able to convert the attribute pwdlast set to a date using the following
code, but it doesn't really work with accountexpires. Any help is appreciated.
I was using this with a hardcoded (certainly not desirable) number of days
until password expiration occured. While we do currently have one standard
policy, I'd like to avoid making any assumptions and use the accountexpires
attribute.
thanks!
Shannon
<CFSET Testexpire = #getUser.pwdlastset# / (24*(60*(60*10000000)))>
pwdlastset : #testexpire# (100 ns)<br>
Password Last Set On: #DateFormat(DateAdd("d", testexpire, "1/1/1601"),
"m/dd/yyyy")#<br>
<CFSET pwdseton= #DateFormat(DateAdd("d", testexpire, "1/1/1601"),
"m/dd/yyyy")#>
<CFSET today = #DateFormat(Now(), "mm/dd/yyyy")#>
Password set : #DateDiff("d","#pwdseton#", "#today#")# days ago
<CFSET expiredays = #DateDiff("d","#pwdseton#", "#today#")#><br>
<cfset daysleft = 200 - expiredays>
Days left until expiration: #daysleft#<br>
Password will expire on: #DateFormat(DateAdd("d", daysleft, today),
"m/dd/yyyy")#
