Convert to static html for offline/CDROM application

I have got to port an existing CF app into an app that runs directly from
CDROM including a search feature.

Apart from one possible approach through a complete server environment with
Blue Dragon server discussed somewhere else, I wonder if would be more simple
to convert the cfm pages to static html.
The problem here is obviously also to maintain the dynamic URL parameters...

Any tips from anybody who his already some experience in such a task?
