Re: converting a image to vector
Hi Ross,
tracing images is not a good option to get crisp curves and shapes.
What I would do (of course I haven't seen the image..) but anyway.. I would
put it on the background and draw it.
If image has ok res I would use parts of it as a clipping path if that gives
what I want.
This gives me full controll of the results instead of using hours to adjust
and edit a traced object.
You can also split image in several parts in Photoshop with magnetic tool and
import into Freehand and draw part by part, and then put together. Lots of
possibilities here.
Freehand is at its best when it comes to drawing vector images. I do it
everyday from tiff's, jpg, pdf's etc on the background.
Best
Bjorn
