    Default converting endnotes to footnotes

hi everybody! im a new user of adobe indesign cs (os win xp). i have a trouble with footnotes. when i am importing text from word 2003 i get footnotes at the end of the document, but I need them at the bottom of every page. Is there any possible way to do that without having to buy plug-in, or making footnotes one by one in indesign after importing text from ms word.
pls leave msg if you know the answer.
    best wishes

Well, sort of. You have to create links to each note manually, so it's still a heap of work if you've imported a file with a bunch of notes. There was a script posted recently for footonotes but I haven't tried it.

No answer specifically, but perhaps one way to create the footnotes is
to take the footnote text, as 'lumped together' at the end of the
document after importing from Word, and then run the text through linked
text boxes at the bottom of each page where you need the notes, turning
on text wrapping for the box to create space and adjusting the height of
    each one to suit.

Yes, that's the way I set footnotes. Cut the footnote text from the end of the document and flow it all into a new text box at the beginning, then apply footnote paragraph/character styles. Place and size the first box, and then create new ones as needed by clicking on the red cross on the bottom right, and clicking again below the page (which creates a new box at the same width). Work through the document, creating text boxes as needed throughout and adjusting their height as you go.

If only they could support footnotes natively ...
