Converting English to French, having font issues
Hello all,
A quick question. I have an English Director File that I am converting into
french content. I am using Arial as the font but it seems that when I copy the
text from a word document with all the formatting and French characters, it
eliminates them in Director???
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Converting English to French, having font issues
You cannot copy and paste the formatting from a Word doc as Director doesn't
understand how word docs are formatted (neither do most apps) so you will need
to re-format the text once into director.
The font issue is different though. Try copying the text into a simple 3rd
party text editor (like Notepad) then into Director, you should at least get
the correct glyphs.
