Converting existing media Files to FLV
Is there a way to convert pre-recorded Video/Audio (.avi, .mov, .wmv, .mp3
etc..) files to FLV? The video/audio files converted will be able to be
streamed back from Flash Media Server.
Does Flash Media Serve 3.0 / Flash Encoder 2.0 provides this feature?

Re: Converting existing media Files to FLV
A file converter (Adobe Flash Video Encoder/ ffmpeg) should help. Apart from FLV, FMS3 also supports mp3, AAC (.F4A, .m4a) & H.264 (i.e. .mp4, .mov .avi with H.264 encoding).

Re: Converting existing media Files to FLV
Thanks.
Is "Adobe Flash Video Encoder" an Adobe product?
Also, does it exposes an API that can be programmatically accessed so as to automate the conversion through ASP.Net /ASP application.
