Converting from v9 on MACOS9 to Windows 2000 v10

Posted: 08-06-2004, 01:44 PM
Hi Y'all

Is it possbile to read and edit complicated Illustrator documents created in version 9 on a MAC (OS9) in version 10 on Windows.

I am considering moving from MAC to PC but this could be critical to my decision.

Your help would be most appreciated

Mark

Provided that Mac files are saved with a file extension they should open
without problem on the Windows machine. However, fonts may well prove a
little problematic as fonts are often named differently on Windows and Macs

Thanks Len - of course, I'd forgotten about the fonts issue...
