converting text to paths and more
I am new to Freehand and working on a detailed/layered text file. In
Illustrator I know you can click on select all and change everything to
outline. i guess its not the case w/ fh. so do i have to individually choose
each text block?
also, save as editable eps is grayed out in my options. is that because
thereis still text that isn't converted?
please help! i'm very confused and this needs to go out asap. thanks!!

In FHMX, text blocks must first be subselected. You can Edit > Select >
Subselect until all text blocks are subselected (along with everything
else). Then 'convert to paths' will work. Another way to subselect all is to
drag to marquee-select with the Subselect tool.
The Select >Subselect command is so essential to working in FHMX that it's
worthwhile to set up a custom keyboard shortcut for it.
I don't know the answer to that one. I'd advise saving EPS and FreeHand> also, save as editable eps is grayed out in my options. is that because

files separately. It seems to be much more trouble-free in the long run.
