Default converting two anchor points mathematically and equally

    Hello,

I have a rectangle. I need to convert ONE corner to a smooth curve.

What I'd like to do is add two more points on the adjacent line segments. I then want to use the convert anchor point tool to drag handles from each of those new points.

The prolem: I don't know if illy will let you drag the handles the same length. Is there any way to control this? Or have a similar effect?

Default Re: converting two anchor points mathematically and equally

    Stan,

If the sides are horizontal and vertical (if needed you may rotate the rectangle and rotate it back afterwards), you may hold down the Shift key to work along each side, and with the Info palette you can drag to a specific length, same for both.
