cookies as client variables
:confused; Has anyone had a problem using cookies for client variables in CF
administrator? CF MX 6.1 fully patched on Windows 2003 with IIS 6. We
currently use an Access DB for client variables, and I think it causes our CF
server to lock up IIS et all every so often (restart of CF clears it and CF
Application log show timeouts for Client Variables plus it can't find .cfm's
that are really present). I haven't got time to install Sql Server for this
purpose, and thought it might be worthwhile to just switch to cookies. I made
the mistake (long ago) of leaving the default of 'registry'- never again. Any
thoughts appreciated.
