Coordinates change when with w3d imported objects - Macromedia Director 3D

When I load w3d files into director the world coordinate system changes. Can you change the coordinate system back to the default axes? It is causing confusion when trying to translate and rotate the objects....

    Hi,

If you use 3ds max for instance, the coord sys is different in the way that
z is up, while in Director (and most other apps) y is up.

Either model with this in mind in 3ds max, or set the camera accordingly in
Director. Use 3DPI to setup the camera easily.

    Kind regards,

Look into pointAtOrientation, there you can change the forward and up
    vectors of a model.
