Copy & Paste Multiple layers to new document

    Default Copy & Paste Multiple layers to new document

    When I try to copy & paste multiple items from multiple layers into a new document, the paste into the new document goes all on one layer. Any ideas out there on how to preserve the layers? I can't think that this was overlooked by the developers but…

    Open the layers palette flyout menu and I think you'll find exactly what
    you're looking for.

    There is an option in the menu of the layer-palette.
