Copy multiple pages from one doc to another on a separate layer
InDesign: I have two large documents with the same number of pages, i want to combine them in to one document as 2 layers over each other. Is there a quicker way to do this other than copying and pasting pages from one to another in a separate layer, one at a time? Is there a way of copying multiple pages and pasting them to a layer?

Re: Copy multiple pages from one doc to another on a separate layer
Experiment with the Paste Remembers Layers command in the Layers palette menu button. Checked on, this would add layers that are custom named. Unchecked, this would paste objects into the target layer. No, this wont be convenient or fast or automatic, but it could be a small help.
