Default Copy/Paste from Freehand 10 to Photoshop CS

When I copy an object from Freehand 10, it pastes into Photoshop CS but is
completely transparent. It lets me resize and all that but when hit return,
it's clear that nothing is really there at all.

I have tried exporting the object as an EPS but again, nothing is there when I
open it in both Photoshop and Illustrator.

    Christel,

What kind of object are you copying?

Preferences > Export > Clipboard settings control what info is copied to the
clipboard when you do a plain Copy command from FH. You can also use Copy
Special to override the preferences settings.

To copy RGB pixels from FH to Photoshop, set the Export pref to 'Photoshop
    4/5'.

    Those are my current settings...

Perhaps I need to dedicate more memory to Freehand...?!?!

Any object, even just a square or circle. Once in a while it will actually
copy and paste into Photoshop but most of the time, it doesn't. I will try
    bumping up the memory.

What is your platform and OS?

Do you have a Norton Utilities application (e.g. Filesaver) running in the
background? If so, disable it and see if that fixes the problem.

A co-worker and myself are having the same problem. For instance on Friday, I
created some buttons in Freehand, copied and pasted into Photoshop CS - no
problem. Today - I am getting nothing. I made some changes to the buttons,
copied, went to paste into Photoshop, selected "paste as pixels" and I get an
empty box. What's changed between Friday and today - Nothing as far as I can
    tell.

I am working on an Apple G5 with 1 gig of RAM and only have the Photoshop and
    Freehand open.

Any help with this would be appreciated as it is extremely frustrating!!!
