Default Copying and clearing CSS Styles

If I select an object in Dreamweaver that has a style - is there a way to copy
just the assigned style and 'paste' it onto another element? I have so many
styles that scrolling the style list is a bit of a pain.

Also, where is the option to clear styles from objects or from an entire
    document?

If you have that many custom classes to 'assign' then you are not using CSS
    optimally.

My stylesheets usually have fewer than 10 custom classes. All of them are
named with some hint at their functionality - '.clearer', '.pullQuote',
    '.firstLetter', etc.

To apply these, I usually select the element, right click on its tag in the
tag selector bar, and set the class that way.

Yes I'd love to clean up my stylesheets just as I'd like to do all of those
handyman jobs around the house. So I gather there is no way of copying styles.
As a feature request it would be good to be able highlight an element, go down
to the style in the styles display bar at the base of the window, right-click
the style and choose 'copy', then repeat the exercise to paste.

As for clearing styles. In DW 4 there was an option at the top of the style
sheets side window called '(none)' that would clear the styles of selected
elements. Where is this option in later versions?

Problem is, I can't think of a good scenario where I'd want to do that.

Give me an example of the kinds of styles you would expect this to clear,
and where you mean when you say "at the top of the style sheets side
window", please. I'm looking in DW4 as we speak, and I do not see it.

For good or bad we inherit "house" stylesheets we cannot change. Some have odd
compounded names or similar/confusing spellings or go on forever - its just
easier to select the style and copy it than work down lists of styles.

In DW4 (this is on a Mac) go to Window > CSS Styles. In the list of styles
look at the very first. It is call "(none)". If you have imported someone elses
page this will clear whatever you have selected and you can apply your own
    style. Very handy.

    I see it. Thanks.

If I want to clear a style in DW8, I just right click on the tag on the
QuickTagSelector bar, and set the Class/ID to none. That's pretty much the
    same, no?
