Re: Copying emails to a floppy or cd.

Thanks for you reply. I have not saved any of the emails
to a folder. I want to copy them direct from the inbox
to a floppy or cd. Also, I have just started using
Windows XP and do not know much about it. When you say
dragging, it does not make sense to me. Can you simplify
how to do this.

How to do so depends on what program you use for E-mail.

using something like Hotmail. In Oe go to Tools-Options-Maintenance-
Store Folder and that will tell you where your mails are stored. Just
copy the files in that location to a CD (you won't get them on a floppy
anyway!). Make sure that you copy the file called Folders.dbx, because
if you don't, you won't be able to re-impost them if you need to.

Re: Copying emails to a floppy or cd.
Another way is to use the "Save as..." button in the toolbar of the message
window which allows for where to save, file name, and one of three formats.
For CD burning, it may be easier to first save to a separate folder which
your burning software can locate.
