Default Corel Draw 11 to pdf

Can anyone tell me how to convert files created in Corel Draw 11 to high quality pdfs using Acrobat 6 Professional?

If I print directly from Corel I can produce a pdf but quality is poor.
If I try to create a pdf in Acrobat 6 I get a message that the file format is not supported. Help!!

Printing from Corel, with suitable Distiller settings, is the way to
go. What settings are you using, and how is the quality poor?

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I am using Corel Draw.

I realise that I had got the settings on low quality but do you have any more advice as to how to optimise the settings?

I'm creating adverts and stuff for publication in magazines so the quality has to be as high as possible.

The "Press" setting is a good start. Your publishers may have specific
requirements for Distiller settings, so it is a good idea to ask.
