Could not save a file error
Error message "could not complete your request because of a program error". This message comes up if we make a duplicate image( original is a tiff file) and then try to "save as" the copy. The rest of Photoshop seems to be working ok only if we try to save as a file that is a copy of the original do we get this error. It happens on both of our computers. Thanks for your comments.

This referrence to 7/18/03 Michael Field problem is not the same. I do not get the error file is in use. I just get a program error message. I can not save the duplicate or copy image even after I have closed the original image and only have the copy open. Thanks.

Sorry, I missed that. Try resetting your preferences per the procedure in the FAQ's.
If that doesn't solve it, come back with version of PS, and OS info.
