Count Users Logged In - Macromedia ColdFusion

Can you count the number of users logged in to your application if you're on a shared server where you don't have access to CF admin?...

Store logins in a db table. Update it when they log out. Query that table.

If using MX+, no need to store logins. Refer to the following 2 links. You
could google for "SessionTracker Coldfusion" as well.

Thank you for these excellent suggestions. I don't have a lot of experience
using a dump so I'm a bit out of control...
In the RewindLife example, where do I put my own Application name (actually
names, there are two I'd like to get)?
Also, I don't actually need to see the results of the structure dumped, I just
want to loop through and count how many of them there are (ie. number of users
    are logged in).

In the Badpen Tech example, I ended up seeing the Application names and other
details for EVER WEBSITE on the shared server where we're purchasing our
hosting. OOPS! I really don't want to be doing that! Again, I just want to
know where to specify the names of the two Applications we're running.

    Thanks!
