CRASH: when trying to connect to remote server(mac) - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I can't seem to connect to my remote server w/o Dreamweaver crashing. It gets to "connected to remote server" and then crashes... so it does at least find the server. Last time this happened to me, the problem was a file over 31 characters long... problem is this time I cant find any files over 31 characters long... infact I went so far as to delete every file off my remote server, and trying to connect with a site built from a blank folder! One note: I have been able to connect with my friend's PC(this is how I deleted ...

    Default CRASH: when trying to connect to remote server(mac)

    I can't seem to connect to my remote server w/o Dreamweaver crashing. It gets to "connected to remote server" and then crashes... so it does at least find the server.     Try using fetch to see if the connection is working from the mac.

    It could be pasv, or something required.
