Crashes making pdfs

When I make pdfs, ID crashes, sometimes after making the pdf, sometimes before.

can you make a PDF in a new user?

it doesn't crash everytime. but if i'm making a lot of pdf's, it will crash numerous times. i can restart ID and it will work the second time. I'm just wondering if I need to reinstall ID, or is there a PDF preference or cache i could delete that might fix it.

I had a problem with ID not crashing when i tried to load it, but when I threw out Adobe InDesign folder in my Preferences folder, it worked fine. But the pdf problem existed long before I did that.

Check your fonts in the crashing document and if they are Ok or not. Also check how much free space you have on disk when doing the pdfs and when crashing.

checked the fonts and they are good, and i have 23G available on my disk.
