Default crashing acrobat 7.0 professional on OS10.4.8

I've installed and upgraded my G4 to OS10.4.8 I'm running Adobe CS everything runs except Professional 7.0 this constantly crashes. I've taken everything out and re installed them (including quark 6.52). In the console log I get repeated messages- Invalid color: colored pattern specified with uncolored pattern colorspace.I've also thrown out the preferences several times. Nothing works, is acrobat 7.0 professional incompatible with OS 10.4.8?

    thanks

The " Invalid color: colored pattern specified with uncolored pattern
colorspace" message comes to everyone in Tiger, and presumably isn't
the cause of the crashes. Any other messages?

I get the same error constantly when quitting Acrobat Pro. It crashes instead of quitting. Same errors as yours. Just figured I'd be patient and wait for them to fix/repair the problem. Curious to what the answer is.

    Hello all,
Crashes come when setting a link from a text phrase to a page in the same document. I can set one or two and then the program crashes and unless I saved the document after ever link, the link is lost and the file does NOT appear in the "Open recent" menu.

That's a bug. Disable the TablePicker.acroplugin in Acrobat.

    Thanks MarkATS.
I can see tablepicker in "about Adobe plug-ins" and it is loaded and certified but I cannot discover how to disable it. Doing a search in "Spotlight" does not come up with anything under 'tablepicker". I would assume if I found it I would just remove it from the plugins folder...but there is no plugins folder in my Acrobat applications folder.

Get Info on the Acrobat application and under the plug-in section, uncheck the box next to tablepicker.

    Hi MarkATS,

Thanks. Works like a champ now. My links are all working. I also thank you for teaching me a basic MAC tool I should have known. How to turn off plugins.

    Regards,

Hi I'm on a Mac - an iMac OS 10.5.8

Acrobat 7.0 repeatedly crashes, and eats up my files - I start over, and usually it's ok, but then I'll lost an entire file again. Any suggestions?
