Crashing when printing a book

Suddenly, after months of successfully using the Print Book function (via the Print button or the fly-out menu of the Book palette), I'm getting crashes everytime I try to print a book. I know the documents involved are OK because a) they print fine individually and b) they've printed as a book before. I even tried creating a new book with new documents (with nothing in them), and every time I use Print Book, InDesign crashes.

I tried trashing my prefs, but I'm still having the same problem.

Any suggestions? I use this feature often, so would like to get it back. Thanks.

Is it any book, or just this particular collection of documents?

Any book-- like I said, I tried creating a brand new book from scratch with new documents, and the same thing happened...

Don't know what to tell you. I've not ever had this problem with books and I use them alot. If trashing prefs didn't work, howabout logging in as a new user?
