Default Create a drop shadow inside the photo frame using InDesign??

I've seen a technique where photos on a page have a drop shadow inside the frame in two adjacent sides. Can I create that effect in InDesign CS or do I need to use Pshop?

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve given that description. Could
you point to a link on the web with something similar?

I believe the effect you're looking for is an "Inner Drop Shadow" and no ID CS doesn't do that in the core progra.

But check out ALAP's InEffects plug-in. I believe it does what you want.

Inner shadow is definitely a Photoshop effect.

If you jump edit your photo (Go to the links palette and click on the pencil icon on the bottom of the palette) in photoshop, make your edits and then save the file in Photoshop,InDesign will make the changes to your image in place.
