No you can't. If you're a C++ programmer you can get the SWF file format
Software Developer's Kit from Macromedia. It has a lot of documentation and
sample files for writing a program that outputs in the .swf format.

you to use SWT's (SW Templates) for generation of SWFs:
SWT + data --turbine--> SWF

But isn't it true that MX does not give you the option to create SWT
files anymore???
I did find JGenerator from [url]http://www.jzox.com/index.jsp[/url] which seems
to be pretty good and they say it works with MX.
