Default Created pdf in v6 but seems v5 needs missing plug in

I've created an interactive pdf in v6 but when I try and run it in v5, as soon as I roll over the link to advance to the next page a pop up warning says "The plug-in req'd by this "setOCGstate is not available. Info may be avail on Adobe site"

I'm using a Mac, so what plug-in would v5 need to get over the prob? Also, when I uload this to my site, surely Windows users will have a similar problem? Is there a link I can incl on my site so users can download the relevant plug-in?

It appears that you have used a feature of Acrobat/PDF that was introduced in Acrobat 6 - that of Layers (Optional Content Groups). This feature did not exist in Acrobat 5 and no plugin can enable it in that version.

If you need compatibility with Acrobat 5, use the PDF Optimizer feature of Acrobat 6 to flatten layers and save back as version 5.
