Creating a curved rectangle?

Hi! I am new to photoshop 7 and I am trying to create a curved rectangle that holds a photo in it. You can see samples at <http://www.inasolutions.com/temp/images.htm> and <http://www.surequote.com>

If someone could point me to tutorial that explains how to do this I would greatly appreciate it!

Well, the easy part is creating the curved rectangle with the photo in it. It requires a little more work to get portions of the photo (like the heads) to poke above it. It's easy, but requires more work. Let's start basic.

Start with your image on a Non-background layer. If it's currently named Background, Alt-double click it to rename it to layer 0.

In the toolbar click on the Shapes tool and choose Rounded Rectangle. Look in the options bar at the top. First, on the left, click the Paths button, then toward the right, set the amount of rounding you want.

Draw your rounded rectangle. You can use the Path Selection tool to move the rounded rectangle till you have it where you want it.

Next, in the Paths Pallet you will see you have a work path. Double click it to save it as Path 1. Then, look at the Layers Pallet. At the bottom of the pallet, there's an Add Layer Mask button. Click it twice and voilá! You have it.

If you want to have portions of the heads and things sticking out, it's a little different, but come back and ask.
