Default Creating A Form In IDCS and then to PDF..

Hello all. I have a form (daily call reports) that I need to create for our sales men. I want to be able to PDF this form in e-mail it to the salesmen so they can fill it out and e-mail it back to our admin. assistants for filling in our computer system. To clearify, I want the salesmen to fill them out in adobe acrobat or some other way on the computer (no hand writting). Is IDCS and Acrobat the best places to start/go........

You can create forms with Acrobat. Use the forms tool. I think the people that are filling out the form will need to have a full version of Acrobat to be able to save and send it back though.

You can create the document in ID (or another app), and turn it into a PDF. Then, using Acrobat Pro 6 you can make it an interactive form that the recipient can type into.

Gabriel is correct that the other party would need Acrobat 6 (Standard or Pro--not the free Reader) to SAVE the PDF including the additional data he or she typed into it. However, you CAN add to the PDF and print it using the free Reader, in case that would work for you--it would mean that you could eliminate a lot of seat licenses of full version Acrobat. You just can't save the PDF with changes made to it using the free Reader.
