Creating a symbol library
I want to create a symbol library of symbols that I tend to use a lot in different documents. When ever I place a piece of art work in the symbol library in a document, they dissapear from the symbol pallet when I open a new document. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

Re: Creating a symbol library
From the Symbols palette menu (click the small arrow to the right of the Symbol palette), select All Unused & delete them (optional). Now add your Symbols to the Symbols palette. Choose Save Symbol Library from the Symbol palette menu. When you open a new document, from the Symbol palette menu, choose Open Symbol Library > Other Library, locate your saved file & Open it. You could now see your previously saved symbols in the New document.

Re: Creating a symbol library
Or you could just open the CMYK_Startup file, or RGB_startup file, paste them into there and save the file. Whenever you create a new file, they will be ther as an option.
