Creating a User Login
I would like to create a user login for my site, but my web hosting service
does not support server side applications. Is there another approach? Someone
suggested .htaccess but I am not familiar with that. Would it work with
Dreamweaver? Thanks.

Re: Creating a User Login
No, DW doesn't directly work with .htaccess. You would have to find a
reference for it on-line.
The better solution would be to change web hosts to one that does allow you
server side applications such as ASP or PHP.

Re: Creating a User Login
Thanks. Unfortunately, switching is not so easy since they own the domain name
I am using, but what if I do the login/authentication from another site, so the
other site is a sort of gateway to the secure content on the primary site? Can
that work?
