creating an editable pdf document
I am kinda new to Acrobat Professional 7. I am exporting an IndesignCS2 file as a pdf. When the pdf is opened in Acrobat Professional 7 it is not editable. Meaning I cannot delete or add text. Can Acrobat Pro 7 do this? Is there a setting I need to activate? Please help, I have hundreds of files that need to be editable in Acrobat.
thank you,
Leona

Re: creating an editable pdf document
What do you mean by ediatble? Any changes to the doc should be made in the InDesign file, then a new PDF created.

Re: creating an editable pdf document
Sorry for the mispelling. I mean editable. Okay here's the scenario.
My client does not have Indesign. He only has Acrobat Pro 7 (pc based). I am (Mac based) exporting pdfs from Indesign CS2. My client is not able to edit the pdf.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like he has Reader. Can you post this PDF or at least a sample so the forum readers can see what you are talking about?
Cheers,
