Creating an Input form based on a subform
Hi,
I have a main project form that contains several subforms
in it. It has all kinds of information that is useful
for a project leader but not for the designers. There is
a subform at the bottom called Last Action History that
feeds into a Table also called Last Action History. It
is linked to the main form using the Job Number. The
other variables include Last Action Date, Last Action and
Number of Hours. What I want to do is to create a
separate form based on this subform called Last Action
that is only for the designers and work off of a
parameter query. A designer would click on a button on a
form and be prompted for a job number. The designer
would then be taken to the existing subform that contains
a history of all the things that have been done on this
project. They could then add another line to this form
and it would send it to the Last Action Table and include
the job number they selected from the parameter query.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,
Chuck
