Creating Cropped Images.
I am brand new to flash. I want to import an image and place it on a
background... but I want just one image in the picture (a person for
example)... not the complete rectangle of the picture. I know that it has
something to do with creating a PNG file. I also know it is something you
can do with Photoshop (which I can't afford and can't find at any library
etc.).
So, is there a commonly available tool to create this kind of *selected*
image (without the rectangle) .PNG file?
Thanks a lot...
Jeff.

transparent, then save to a file format like .PNG or .GIF. You don't
need Photoshop. Something like Paint Shop Pro or even cheaper
applications should do it. I forget, if GIMP (free Photoshop clone)
does it or not.
Another way while slow is just take a .JPG, import into Flash. Use the
break up tool, then erase the parts you don't want.
