Creating custom access groups
Hello to you all...I was hoping someone could help me with this quick
question. I'm a student at a university were the system of choice is SunOS
5.9. The university provides space for each student to have an ftp
location. What I would like to do is to create a folder inside my main ftp
folder that allows read/write access not only to me but also to one more
person (but only this one folder). I was wondering whether there exists a
way of creating a file in that directory (such as for example .group) where
I can include that user's username, and such that when they try to access
that folder they will be prompted for their login password. So in a way, I
need to define a custom group for one directory, and then I'd like to give
that group read/write/execute permission for any files in that folder.
Thanks a lot to all
Doug
